LEOPARDS'
CLASS SCHOOL PROJECT IN ENGLAND! |
We
are very excited that the teachers of the Leopards' Class at the Northern
Infant School in Portchester, England decided to do a class project using
our Trolls as 'role models'. The objective of this project was to learn
about kindness and good values, and how people can get along in spite of
their differences. |
|

Boxtroll and Little Mudhats love looking at the children's
pictures and reading their thoughts.

The students visited
our website, read about our Trolls and enjoyed coloring the Troll Coloring
Pictures from our site.
The children range from 5 to 7 in age. |
 |
|
Both teachers and
students wondered if trolls can be real, can they talk, and if maybe they
wake up at night to sing and dance.
As they explored the fairytale world of trolls, they learned that many
Trolls can be friendly, too. |
 |
Teachers thought that
Trolls are only a Scandinavian thing, that trolls are somehow mystic, and
probably live in dark woods.
Some were surprised that anyone is still interested in trolls... |
|
We set up a display in our Troll
Store, and many of our customers were delighted to find out that Trolls
have friends in Portchester, England! |
The class talked a lot
about kindness, and how, even if we all don't look the same, we can all
have a kind heart.
The children learned a lot of new
words, learned to sound them out and understand the meaning.
They also found out where America
is! |

Trumpetnose and
the Troll Council were happy to send the students of the Leopards'
Class an Official Trolldom Diploma like this:
